Dear Member,
We are excited to announce that we are converting to a new core online banking system starting on April 1, 2021. We decided to change our core system to continue to provide you with safe, secure products and services, all while utilizing the newest technology.
This core conversion will affect our Online Banking service minimally. You may experience a few minor disruptions in our added services in the first few days. The new and improved online banking is safer and more secure than our current service. It will also offer various new tools that we weren’t able to offer before, like a mobile banking app for Apple and Android devices, check free bill pay system, external account transfers, chat, online lending, and in a few months, Zelle. Zelle is a fast way to send and receive money with the people you know and trust.
As mentioned above, there will be some changes heading your way, and we want you to be ready for them. Below is a summary of what to expect during the core conversion with regards to online banking.
Online banking Availability
Our new online banking service will become available on the morning of April 1st. Members will not experience any downtime as they will automatically be directed to the new service upon login. Our telephone banking line (800)508-9668 will also be available during the conversion.
Username and Password Changes
Members will be able to use their current online banking Logon ID and Security Code. Members may be forced to change their security code if they have not done so for 365 days.
Bill Pay
Our Bill Pay service is getting a new look and feel, and we can’t wait for you to see it. Please note that you will not have access to Online Bill Pay during the core conversion process. We recommend scheduling all online bill payments before 2 PM on March 30, 2021, advance scheduling will ensure a timely payment. Members will not have access to Bill Pay after 2 PM on March 30th until the morning of April 1, 2021 when the final conversion of data is completed.
Mobile Check Deposit
Our current VCCFCU Mobile Deposit App will become obsolete on April 5, 2021. A reminder email to download our new Van Cortlandt Coop FCU Banking App will be sent to mobile deposit users before then.
E-Statement History
Though there will not be a disruption to your e-statement history, we highly recommend downloading and printing a year’s worth of statements for your records.
